He was born in Coos county, Oregon, was the son of W. H. and Elizabeth Bunch, and was 23 years, 6 months and 5 days old. Ho was converted when quite young and united with the Adventist church at Gravelford. He was a student of the Gravelford Academy from its foundation until three and a half years ago, when he chose for his life work that of the ministry and entered tho Walla Walla Col lege accordidgly, to prepare himself for that calling. While there he contracted the disease that resulted in his death. His noble character and cheerful disposition made him a favortte in school and elsewhere, both at home and abroad. His life purpose was not carried out but he left on his life record a monument to his mem ory and an example to his friends of patiently enduring suffering, trials and disappointment. Dur ing all his afflictions he never mur mured or complained, and never lost faith and confidence in Him who knows the end from the begin ning, but his faith grew stronger and his hope brighter to the. end. con tin u es to cure all S m u h I an<J S e m I u n i His was a beautiful life which only B U r R k c i « such ur We are in a position to offer a : ilo n o r r h ir s , flJleet budded on earth to bloom in good piece of water front of 2J J S t r i c t u r e .
