G. H. Northrup, a prominent up
river stock man, who has been in
Southern California and Arizona
for the greater part of the two
■ years doing some prospecting and
mining engineering, returned last
Friday and proceeded on his way
home. He tells us that the seotion
in which he was is very much in

in consequence. From bis remarks
we would conclude that he thinks
Coos county is about all right.

The short time before Christmas behoves every one to get busy and make
their purchases at once as our stock is surely to be depleted at the rate it is
going. Our goods are just the thing for a sweetheart or Uncle Joe or Aunt
Marie. We have just what you want, and we know that we can satisfy all and
make many a happy home.
