Sanderson received a letter from San Francisco, announc ing the safe arrival of Mrs Sander son and her brother there on their way to San Diego. Mrs. Sanderson suffered slightly from seasickness the first half day out, but after that stood the trip well and walked a block and a half to the street car on her arrival at San Francisco. Sired by Thoroughbred Stallion Boneparte, Edna Alice McCoy was born near Drain, Douglus county, Oregon, Dec. 13, 1888 and died at Bandon this county, June 1, 1905. She was tho daughter of Chas. McCoy and had resided in this place for several years before going to Bandon in 1902. She had been marked a victim of that dread dis ease, consumption, for many years, although she had not been bedfast. She wassick about four days before she died, but was not considered dangerously i l l ; and seemed very strong and cheerful and within two hours of her death seemed Btrong enough to dress herself. But just after noon she became suddenly worse and died in a very short time, but did not seem to suffer much pain in the iast struggle. The funeral was held in the Pres byterian church at Bandon, Friday afternoon at 2 o ’clock. The deceased left a large host of friends who extend their sy mpathy to her father and sisters for th eir great loss.
