San Francisoo, May ‘¿3.—The United States Circuit Court of Ap peals has banded down the follow ing decisions: United States of America vs. W. A. Clark, Montana judgment affirmed, Judge Gilbert dissenting. This was a suit by the United States tu obtain a decree anuuling 82 patents for timber lands in Montana on the ground that the entries were fraudulent. Judge Gilbert in his dissenting opinion, saya: “ I think there is enough in the record to show that facts came to the knowledge of the défendent and his agents sufficient to put then, upon inquiry as to the manner in which the lands were obtained from the United States.” Centennial Note«. n » i * w arstroM iir.
