He Should Be Released Georgs Rickman is tryin g to gat tha governm ent to discharge one o f his three sons in the N avy. It is tha youngest, Raymond W ., who is a fire man on the New port News, that ho is asking for. The boy enlisted before ho was eighteen and the heavy w ork ho is doing is undermining his health. The navy departm ent .asked fo r his birth certificate as evidence that he w m under eighteen when ho enlisted, but does not seem to have paid any attention to the affidavit o f his par ents, which was a ll th e p roof that could be fumiahed as to h ia age. The photo o f him self which the young man sends, and even his handwriting qre proof enough td his parents ■that be is breaking down under the strain. Congressman H aw ley has bean ap pealed to and it is hoped that he may be able to do som ething to secure the boy's release.
