Gets and C apt Young, o f the Coquille Coos Guard, on Mr. Baker’s invitation, ad dressed the boys o f the grades men tioned on tha subject o f military training and found them enthusiasti cally in favor o f form ing a corps of High School Cadets. Everyone o f the 60 boys present voted to affiliate him self with such an organisation and today a paper I s being circulated by which they ob ligate themselves to attend drills. The plan is to have drill periods twice a week, one in the afternoon and the other in the evening, thus a c commodating those who could not at tend et one time or the other.
