Friday May 13th was set as the
date of an election for the city
of Coquille in which $250,000 of
water bonds will be up for ap­
proval by the voters of the city.
The city council went on re­
cord Monday night to put the is­
sue before the people upon re­
commendations of Dr. Peter Wolfe,
chairman of the water committee
of the council.
The money requested is part of
a three-stage program set up for
the modernization of the city of
Coquille water system.
