Mrs. Helen Clark
Mrs. Helen Clark, formerly a
member of-4he Coquille Telephone
office staff and now chief operator
at Bandon, was honored at a post­
nuptial shower given by telephone
office workers. Mrs. Clark, for­
merly Helen Endicott, was married
in Coquille recently.
Hostess for the shower was Mrs.
Betty Reed of Coquille, at whose
home the affair was held. A pink
umbrella was suspended over the
table on which the gifts were!
placed. Pink and white roses com­
pleted the decoration.
Prize winners for contests played
during the evening were Mrs.
Clark Clark and Mrs. Lula Jarvis.

Pinkston-Curtis Marriage Vows Given
In Coos Bay Presbyterian Church
The marriage of Florence Mae
Curtis, daughter of M r. and Mrs.
George I. DeNoma of Coquille, and
Perry R. Pinkston of Coquille was
solemnized at four o’clock Monday,
July 1, at the Presbyterian church,
Coos Bay. Rev. Oscar Payne o ffi-
ficiated at the double ring cere­
mony.
With her navy blue street-length
dress, the bride wore a choker
of pearls and white accessories.
Her bouquet was of roses and car­
nations. George DeNoma gave his
daughter in mkrriage.
The matron of honor was Vera
Rose of Portland, Oregon, and the
bridesmaid was Ethel Mae Curtis
of Coos Bay.
Mrs. Rose was
gowned in black and carried a
colonial bouquet.
Miss Curtis
wore lavendar and carried a col­
onial bouquet of mixed flowers.
Doil Capps of Coquille acted as
best man and ushers were Robert
F. Curtis and D arrell Austin.
A t the reception held in West­
minster hall, Coos Bay. Mrs. Jess
Woolley poured and Mrs. Robert
Garrick cut the cake.
The bride’s mother, Mrs. De
Noma, wore a figured dress of
black and white with white ac­
cessories and the groom'g .mother
was gowned in blue-grey.
The newly-weds w ill be at home
July 16 at 1055 North 10th St.,
Coos Bay, following a wedding trip
to Northern Washington, Grand
Coulee Dam and Crater Lake. For
traveling the bride wore a grey
suit with pink accessories.
Out-of-state guests at the wed­
ding were Mrs. J, J. Roth and
three daughters Of Burlington,
Washington; Clarence Pitchford of
Tacoma, Washington, and Mrs.
Florence Cunningham of St. Pe­
tersburg, Virginia.
