Six interesting letters from' j*a»t
noble grands who had moved av'47
were read. The noble grand callee!
on the ones present to form a
semicircle back of the altar. She
welcomed the past nobJe grands
with kind words of appreciation in
their cooperation and interest.
As a response the ensemble, of
15 sang, without any rehearsal, ap­
propriate lines - to th e tune of
"The Old Gray Mare.”
Mrs. Florence Wolgamott gave
a very clever and humorous read- i
ing entitled ‘‘W hat William Henry
Did,” as an entertainm ent feature.
Mrs. Berniece Clausen was
chosen to wear the traveling R e-i
tiekah pin for six months. Commit- t
tee appointed for the n eat meeting
April 26, which will inelode imiias-
tion, is: Mrs. Ann' Dungey, Mrs.
Edna Lttle and Mrs. Florence Wbl-
gamott.
At the close of the m eeting de­
licious refreshments were served
in the dining room, which was
beauttfuHy decorated for the oc­
casion, Stream ers Of pink and
green crepe paper centered the
long tables and crystal candelebra
wth pink and green tapers, candy
rabbits and other Easter decora­
tions completed the setting.
At each past noble grand’s plate .
was a pink and green String which
led to be gaily decorated basket. As
the strings w ere pulled small myr-
tlewood gavels tied with pink and
green ribbon w ere draw n from the
basket of eacfa one. As the other
plates were cleverfly worded say­
ings which were read by the mem­
bers.
The committee for the evening
were: Berneice Clausen, Doris
Smith, May Holbrook, Janet John­
son and Dorothy McGowan.

Winn. Receiving campcraft badges
were Joyce Anderson, Bobbye Jean
Harris, Mercia Jefrey and Doris
Parrish, and those receiving salt­
water life finder badges were
Joyce Anderson, Bobbye Jean H ar­
ris, Marcia Jeffrey, Doris Parrish
and Viola Train.
Membership stars were given to
all members of the troop who have
been in scouting one year or more.
Following th e presentation of
the awards refreshments were
served by Mrs. Purkey.
