State Game commission bulletin
included a questionnaire to be
filled out and returned by all
anglers.
The questionnaire w ill
also be distributed by license
agents and field men of the com
mission.
The questionnaire is an attempt
to determine the intensity of an
gling on the various bodies of
w ater in the state and to deter
mine the public preferences re
garding species of fish. I f a suf
ficient sample can be secured, the
results w ill provide an excellent
guide for the fisheries department
of the Game commission in fu
ture management activities.
Early returns from the question
naire mailed w ith the bulletin
have been extrem ely encouraging.
The Oregon State Game com
mission is a monthly publication
of the commission dealing w ith
activities of the department and
fish and game situations over the
state.
