Job's Daughters
Hold Banquet
The members of the Eagles A u x ­
iliary sewing club were enter­
tained at the home of Mrs. Ralph
Menning when a potluck luncheon
was held on Wednesday. During
the afternoon the ladies sewed for
the bazaar which w ill be held
early in December.
Plans were
made for a pinochle party to be
held on October 20, proceeds
which w ill be uesd to purchase
sewing material.
The winner of the door prize
was Mrs. Ralph Menning.
Those present were Mrs. Clar­
ence Hurrell, Mrs. Earl Dalrymple,
Mrs. Frank DeCosta, Mrs. Con­
stance Pownder, Mrs. Bertha W il­
son, Mrs. Noel Benham, Mrs. Bud
Menning, Miss Edna Robison, Mrs.
Annie Bradshaw, Mrs. Van Spores
and Mrs. Maria Pratt.
The next sewing meeting w ill
be held at the home of Edna Rob­
ison at Broadbent on Wednesday,
October 27.

Monday evening, O c t 11, at a ban­
quet held In the Coquille hotel.
The affair, arranged by Coquille
Job's Daughters, was also given in
honor of fifteen candidates who
were initiated later in the evening.

monies were some seventy-five

ticipating.
