the bride of Donald E. Minard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Minard
of Coquille, at a single ring ceremony performed at the First
Presbyterian church of North Bend Sunday, August 10, at 2 o’clock

Bud Brant was best man and Bruce
McPherson and Clovis Brant were
the ushers. Mrs. Roy Russell played
the wedding music.
A reception for the couple followed
the church ceremony and was held
at the home of the bride’s parents.
Following the reception the couple
left on a wedding trip to Brewster
valley and upon their return w ill be
at home in Coquille.
For her going-away costume the
bride wore a blue suit with white
accessories and gardenia corsage.

Mr. Flash Visits....Southern Oregon’s Christian Church Summer Camp
At
Bridge
Nestled in the quiet fir-clad hills three miles south of Bridge is Camp Myrtle
wood. a lovely, peaceful retreat from the fast pace in the cities, and this month to
the Southern Oregon Christian Church summer camp went over 70 youngsters of all
ages. Mr. Flash of The Sentinel got his Speed Graphic and a handful of £lash bulbs
and below are the results of a visit to this camp at which youngsters from Coos.
