high production record fo r the auto
industry In its post-VJ Day history,
producing 58,820 cars and trucks, It
was announced here today by C liff
Gulseth of Southwestern Motors.
The 58 820 total includes 30,367
passenger ears
and 28,453 trucks,
Gulseth said. T he comparable month­
ly total fo r A p ril, best previous post-
w ar month production-wise, is 47,077
units.
