County Meeting Set
At Christian Church

The young people of the Christian
Church of Coos county will gather at
the Coquille Christian Church at 2:30
on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 18.
The meeting will be under the di­
rection of C. F. Swander and Helen
Bratney, who represent the Youth
committee of the Christian Churches
of the state. The entire program of
young people’s societies .will be dis­
cussed. Laty in the afternoon there
will be a period of play, followed by
a luncheon.
The evening service will be a time
of inspiration for youth, with Rev.
Phil Ryan of Myrtle Point speaking.
The day will be concluded by the
all-church youth sing at 9:00 p. m.

mission closing the Coquille river
above the highway bridge at thia city
to commercial and net fishing will
become effective November 23.
Coquille Hotel cannot accommodate that many
visitors and, therefore, it will be necessary for
the people of Coquille to open their homes.
A reasonable charge for such sleeping accom­
modations will be expected.
