Good Crowd At
Eogles Picnic
The Coquille Eagles picnic
Sunday, at the Cherry creek park
near McKinley, was well attended,
several Eagles’ families from Marsh
field being present also. Ice cream,
pop and coffee were furnished by
the lodge and nearly everyone came
early and stayed late.
Defense stamps were given as
prizes for the races which included
both grown-ups and youngsters as
contestants. The Eagles reporter says
that the*umpire was so biased in his
decisions that the ball game was
called off before the nine innings had
been played.
The. next social affair will be to
morrow (Friday) night, for which
the committee has prepared a good
program. There will also be dancing
and a feed and ak it is guest night
each member is expected to bring a
guest.
