Fifty of this total will be presented Saturday, August 22, at the state fair grounds in Salem, with Governor Charles A. Sprague making the presentation. This program, at which Secretary of State Earl Snell will bo one of the main speakers, will be held in con junction with the Oregon State Jersey club annua) picnic. Besides the 50 bulls to be awarded at the fair grounds, eight additional ones will bo presented from Granta Paa». Donors include prominent Jersey breeders in every part of the state. The bulls are to go to breeders, young and old, who are interested in improving their herds and increasing production in the light of victory needs.
