With the dining tables placed to form a victory V, members of Beu­ lah Chapter of Eastern Star enjoyed a 6:30 potluck dinner last Thurs­ day. Nothing was left undone to make the table effect lovely with the season’s flowers. A meeting in the chapter room at 8:(X> p. m. fol­ lowed the dinner. There again floral decorations were breath-taking, with huge baskets of gorgeous garden flowers. Degrees were conferred on candi­ dates who expressed th^r apprecia­ tion upon being admitted into the order. ‘J.
