Parkersburg News
Mrs. John Heffley was hostess to
the Parkersburg club last Wednes­
day, at her home. Fifteen members
were present to enjoy a delicious pot­
luck dinner. The afternoon was spent
discussing the community fair, to be
held in the fall, and defense project to
be taken up by the club. Dew Valley
dub invited the club to meet with
them in April and the invitation was
enthusiastically accepted.
Members present were Mesdames
Myrtle Jenkins, Irlean Haga, Anna
Morrison, Theresa Devereux, Wava
Haga, Emma Scranton, Norma Allen,
Annie Hamblock, Maude Danielson,
Bertha Morris, Gertrude Munson, Irja
Heffley, Bessie Jenkins, Pearl Jen­
kins, Vemetta Heffley. Gentlemen
guests of the club were Eugene Ham­
block, Harry Heffley, Richard Daniel­
son, Jim Jenkins and

Terry.

Last week Charles and Clayton Fel­
lows drove out to Salem on a com­
bined business and visit trip.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Albertson
spent Sunday at the Jack Haga home.
