Christmas party combined, to honor husbands of members, last Sunday evening at seven o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Wat son. The dining table was decorated with holly cut from the large tree in the Watson yard. A pretty Christ mas tree on which were the gifts was a feature of the evening. Penney store of Coquille took place last Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Martin. On the dining room table there was a beauti- ful large arrangement of tall candles and red berried branches. Entertaining games were played and prizes won by Clara Hultin, Bob and Tom Martin and Jerry Butler, Pictures taken by Don Estes around Crater Lake and elsewhere were shown. Santa Claus was there and distributed gifts. Santa resembled Mr. Martin. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Driscoll, Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Estes, Mesdames Jack Reddy, Clara Hultin, Mildred Brown, R. L. Griffin, Nellie Cline, Eva Barrows, Joe Sayre, Miss Myrtle DeLong, Miss Margaret Stew art, Jerry Butler, Theron Miller, H0*«* Hendricks, Tom Martin, Bob Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mar- tin.
