turned here Tuesday and is living at

to Eugene Friday. Mrs. Roger Stew­

Oregon summer school, came home

There were sixteen young women
at the first class in automotive ser­
vice instruction at the M 1c W Auto
Service shop, Monday evening. This
is a part of the 6th Column plan hi
aid in defense and covers a course in
service to eliminate repairs on then
own cars by proper handling, dia;:-
nosing trouble and making emergency
repairs. It is expected there will be
25 enrolled for the meeting next week.

Three babies were born at the hos­
pital the past week—
To Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Spurgeon,
of the Marshifeld highway on Sun­
day, a baby girl who has been named

an appendectomy, Ray Reilly a ton­
silectomy, and Cecil Snyder entered
for treatment of an injured foot.
V. L. Langatom was dismissed from
the hospital on Monday
