The Golden Text was, "O praise the
Lord, all ye nations . . . For his mer­
ciful kindness is great toward us: and
the truth of the Lord endureth for
ever.” (Ps. 117:1, 2).
Among the citations which com­
prised the Lesson-Sermon was the
following from the Bible: “Then said
Jesus to those Jews which believed
on him, If ye continue in my word,
then are ye my disciples indeed; And
ye shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free.” (John
31, 32).
