Looked Like A Vicious Reptile One Million People See Oregon Travel Pictures Amerita is Reception Tuesday For New Pastor \ A reception was held Tuesday in the Church of Christ for the new minister Dan Brown, and his wife and son, Richard formerly of Fort Benton Montana, who arrived here Friday. The young people of the Christian Endeavor sponsored the program and entertainment. The women of the church served ice cream and cake. Taking part in the program were the following: Two-minute Welcomes by Marjorie Rae Baumgarten presi time was devoted to dent of Christian Endeavor; Vera the Coquille parking Bailey, president of church board; of the members ex- Ralph Harry, superintendent of Bible school, and V æv H. L. Gray beai, president of Coquille ministerial as- sociation. Mrs. Nina Nosier painted a crayon picture to illustrate the poem read by Kenneth Hooton and hymn sung by Geraldine Cole, Patty Nosier, Jack Carrol and Kenneth Hooton. Other musical numbers were: solo by the choir, director, Maud Skaggs, Woodyard, and hymn in sextettte ar rangement sung by Verene Bailey. Lois Morgan, Doris Hadsall, Florence Campbell, Beth Hooton, Geraldine Cole, Patty Nosier Yvonne Kern. Buth Towne led the group in a sing. Reverend Mr. BdnUn of Marshfield, offered the invocation and Reverend L. C. Persing, Assembly ot God, Co quille, pronounced the benediction. Young people who assisted in other capacities were: Jim Young, Janice Osterhout, Gloria Chapman, Elvin Widmark, Alda Nosier and Emma Frances and Donald Farr. Mr. Brown comes highly recom mended by the church in Montana which he has served for the past ten years and the local members are look ing forward to a year of spiritual growth under his leadership.
