J Christmas Parties
” ' Members of the high school facul-
*'ty enjoyed a jolly party Wednesday
* evening at the Jess Beyers home.
Among the outstanding menu items
served at the no-host buffet dinner
were some of Mr. Boyers* famous
•t hamburgers, which he grilled in the
•• cabin. Mrs. Beyers arranged many
ld attractive Christmas decorations for
* the party. Under a huge Christmas
t- tree, she displayed a miniature farm.
The buffet'was decorated with a
Santa Claus figure that grinned at
its reflection in a series of mirrors.
Silver balls, holly and white tapers
made an effective table decoration.
Bob Nelson, as Santa Claus, disrtib-
uted presents. Everyone had a grand
time playing games and participating
in contests of various kinds. Those
present were Messrs, and Mesdames
Clarence Osika, B. W. Dunn, Thos.
Cauthers, E. E. Leslie, Bob Nelson,
Jess Beyers, Frank Schram, Stanley
Ayers, Mrs. Cleona Hill, the Misses
Aileen Dement, Marjorie Jones and
Lunelle Chapin and Mr. Pqul Snyder.
