M m . Oscar Langlois entertained at
a surprise party Monday afternoon
to compliment her aunt, Mn. Ella
Nelson, who on that day celebrated
her eighty-firet birthday. Friends of
Mrs. Nelson brought her many beau­
tiful gifts, and in turn enjoyed serv­
ings from her two big birthday cakes.

conducted the business meeting, dur­
ing which committee reports wen

shower during the social hour for
Mrs. Tom Schaer, a recent bride. Re­
freshments were served during the
late afternoon.
