The color scheme was
blue and yellow, long blue tapers in
yellow candle holden carrying out
the motif. At each place was a most
attractive handmade linen kerchief
with net ruffling and a tiny blue rib­
bon rosette in the center. Place cards
with forget-me-nota completed the
setting. Fololwing luncheon the af­
ternoon was spent in sewing and chat­

Mrs. C. C. Farr was hostess to a
group of the “Helping Hands” of the
Church of Christ last Thursday after­
noon. The ladies tied a comfort and
spent a social afternoon sewing and
chatting. They are planning a kit­
chen shower for the church and'are
also busy making Christmas gifts for
the old folks' home at Beaverton. De­
licious strawberry shortcake and cof­
