Mrs. Alma Halter has received a letter from Miss Maxine Young of Ryegate, Montana, stating that her mother. Lavina Young had passed away suddently at her home there Oct 9. She will be remembered here as Lavina Albee before her marriage to Mr. Young. The class has selected for this year's offering a comedy, “Spring Fever,” by Glenn Hughes. It is certain that no one will want to miss what prom ises to be one of the most amusing high school plays in yean. The new galvanized iron covered building on First street, just west of the J. E. Quick place, has been built by Chas. Gardner who says it is for rent. It is a 30x40 foot structure, un floored, although Mr, Gardner says he will floor it should it be desired as a warehouse. — BELLE KNIFE HOSPITAL Mrs. Opal Norton entered the hospital last Saturday for a major op eration and A. L. Bruce entered for treatment. Mrs. Georgia Bunch of Brewster valley entered for treatment last Fri day and L. B. Dodge, of Coquille, on Saturday for a major operation.
