CoquiUe defeated the Marshfield
baseball team 11-8 in a league game
played in this city.
Led by a timely clout in the fourth
inning by Alan Bailey, which resulted
in a homer it was followed by a round
trip for BUI McKenna, of Marshfield,
in the fifth.
Although the locals got started
rather late, consistent scoring from
the fourth inning until the last to­
talled eleven counters, with just as
many hits.

B. Vincent was the best hitter for
the winners while McKenna was even
better for the loeers with four hits
on five trips to the home plate.
