TROPIC HOLIDAY
Second in the series of outstanding natural color reproductions of
Oregon’s scenic wonders, a new and interesting picture of Mount
Hood as seen from Lost Lake will be available beginning Monday,
August 8, at any Standard Station or dealer, according to local Stand
ard Oil Company executives. The picture has been taken from the
famous “scenic point” at Lost Lake where many motorists think the
best possible view of majestic Mount Hood is obtained. Lost Lake
is in the Mount Hood National Forest which also contains the newbr
completed Timberline Lodge. By taking the Mount Hood Loop road
motorists can easily visit both Lost Lake and Timberline Lodge on
the same trip.
