One of the loveliest ceremonies ever
presented by Beulah Chapter, No. 8,
was the "Friendship Addenda,” given
last Thursday evening in the Masonic
hall
Over eighty members of the
order attended ip honor of "Friend­
ship Night.” Each officer had as her
guest an officer from another chap­
ter in the county. The marching in
double formation was a beautiful
sight.
At the close of the regular
meeting, this beautiful ceremony was
presented under the leadership of the
worthy matron, Miss Bess Maury. The
chapter room was likened' unto a
“Friendship Temple” and the guest
members invited to enter by means of
significant keys.
Mrs. Maud Woodyard, accompanied
by Mrs. Stanley Ayers, sang a beau­
tiful Friendship song during the cer­
emony.
Others taking part1 were:
Mrs. Belle Gould, Mrs, Florence San­
ford, Mrs. Maxine Jeub, Mrs. Gladys
Gano and Wm. C. Ulett.
Dr. June
Martin, member of the Jurisprudence
committee of the grand chapter and
a special guest of the evening, gave a
lovely and inspiring talk on "Friend­
ship” and told how much she was
impressed with the beautiful cere­
mony. Mrs. May Keiser, worthy
matron of Coos chapter, No. 99, and

Hartley, formerly of Coquille, but
now of Bandon, told how glad she
was to be back after a two years’ ab­
sence.
After the meeting, a social time was
enjoyed with old friends. Refresh­
ments served in the banquet, hall
