Naming the Hyacinth
Hyacinth obtained its name from
Hyacinthus who as a spectator at a

Zephyrua was struck by one of the
quoits and killed. The Sungod ruled
that the beauty of the boy Hyacin
thus should live forever and there
upon caused the Hyacinth to grow.
