Penney’« Christmas Bonuses
Business Good This Week
The Christmas business in Coquille
which had been pretty slow up till
last Saturday, picked up immensely
this week, as shoppers from Coquille
and all over the Coquille valley filled
the streets with their cars and kept
the clerks on the Jump from early
morning unti eight o’clock in the eve
ning.
While the volume for the season
is not up to that of previous years,
the past week has probably equalled
previous totals for the week before
Christmas.
