I was a week-end guest at the home of Mr. and Mis. Earl Edgmon. Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Watkins and daughters, Jean and Anne, were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Williams in Marshfield Friday. On Saturday they met Mary Watkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Watkins, who arrived from La Grande to spend the Christmas holidays at home. She will return to La Grande and enroll for the second term at Eastern Oregon Norrpal. Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Watkins at­ tended a birthday dinner held at the Church of God in Coquille Sunday afternoon in honor of the birthday of the pastor, L. E. Neal. The girls’ 4-H club of Arago met in the school library Friday after­ noon with Mrs. Marvin Shaw as their instructor. The Morning Star class of the Arago Sunday school Is giving a white elephant party Friday evening, Dec. 17 in the Arago gym at 7:30.
