Commendations for Number
Below the Sentinel prints a couple
of the letters recently received com-
mending our Progress Number. The
first is from Leslie M. Scott, of Port-
land, formerly state highway com­
missioner:
“Your special June issue of the
Sentinel is an excellent number, full
of good description, beautiful cuts,
and attractive advertisements, and
reflecting enterprise and hard work.
“I congratulate you on the appear­
ance of this number, and thank you
for the place given to myself.”

last Sunday.

Tuesday morning for Portland after
spending a week visiting in the val­
ley.
K. O. Bernhardt brought Mrs. J. C.
Hedden over from Marshfield last
Friday to the home of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Deadmond, where
Mrs. Heddon and daughters are
spending the summer.
