Mrs. C. E. Niles left last Saturday on
a trip to Washington, D. C., to visit
her son. Capt. W. E. Niles, who has
a three year alignment in the secre­
tary of war’s office there. She was to
stop enroute to visit relatives in Spo­

Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Claterbos
and daughter left last Saturday after­
noon for their former home in Union,
Ore., where Harry Claterbos, Jr., was
one of the high school graduating
class on Tuesday evening this week.
He accompanied them when they re­
turned Wednesday.
Jerry Watson, of Roseburg, was the
last victim of that fatal automobile
accident at Bandon on March 6 to
leave the Coquille Hospital.
She
was able to walk out yesterday, al­
though she will wear a brace for a
time. She went to Bandon to visit
her aunt, Mrs. Croxall.
