Mrs. Ellis Newton entertained with
a lovely surprise party for her hus­
band at their home on No. Henry
street last Tuesday evening, the oc­
casion being his birthday. The rooms
looked very attractive with cherry
blossoms and red tulips. The guest
of honor received many nice gifts.
Games were played throughout the
evening, after which refreshments
were served by Mrs. Newton to the
following guests: Messrs, and Mes­
dames Jos. Sayre, Louis Donaldson,
Lawrence Hatcher, Stanford New­
ton, Levi Wilson, Stanley Marrion.
Miss Rose Matney, Robert Bailey and
the guest of honor.
