Entertained Seniors Club Notes and Other Professional Sochi Activities The Business and Women’s Club met Monday night at lhe Pioneer Hall. After a short busi ness session the club entertained the senior girl* of tlie Coquille high ychool with an Easter party. The program was in charge of the Health committee. » The next meeting of the club, April 20, will be in charge of the Program committee with Belie Gould a* chair man. There will be a study of Ore gon’s products, arts and science, mu sical composers, authors, artists and cartoonists given by the four past president* of the club. Ruth Beyers will speak on artists and cartoonists, Inez Chase, authors, Leona Bryant music composers, and Bertha Smith, products, arts and science. Inez R. Chase last Fri day evening. The club surprised Mrs. Jennie Price, who recently lost her home by fire, with a miscellan eous shower. Missionary Society Meeting The fashion show and party, given under the auspices of the ways and means committee of Beulah Chapter. O. E. S., last Tuesday was a most suc- cesful and entertaining affair, being held in the chapter room of the Ma sonic hall, which was attractively tecorated-with. potted plant* and treencry. presenting a pretty setting for the display of spring styles wliich ncluded modeling of suits, costs, dresses, evening gowns and even a few outing togs, Participating in the affair were Miss Jessie Dean, Miss darianne Axtell, Miss Virginia TUI- mann, Miss Freda Wilson, Mr*. Alice J .Vilson, Mr*. Eleanor McClellan and little Miss Jane Newdall. During md following the style show, con- ract bridge and sewing occupied the I rfternoon hour*, there being thirteen able* of the former, with Mr*. Geo. Chaney holding high scoe, Mr*. Frank Tudft, second, and Mrs. Theo Clin i ton, third. In the needlework group Mrs. J. D. Rankin was awarded the prize. The ladies in charge of the afternoon were Mr*. Ruth Axtell,1 ’ashions; Mr*. Ann Mansell, games. | Mr*. Pauline Pettit, refreshments; Mr*. Catherine Ruble, decorations, and Mrs. Mildred Hartley, musician. Quite a number of out-of-town vis itor* were present from both Marsh-, field and Myrtle Point. Following the regular meeting of Beulah chapter, O. E. 8., last evening, a beautiful Easter service of music and scriptural readings was held. Floral decorations, featuring Easter lilies were especially beautiful.
