Union held a pre-convention rally and on next Sunday afternoon will hold a final rally in preparation for the date con vention. Myrtle Union will extend an invi tation for the state convention In 1837 to be held at Coos Bay and believe they have a good chance for it as many will remember the fine conven tion held here in 1930. Sunday evening was taken up in contests among the various societies in giving their convention yells and songs and also, a display of plans for parade floats. Societies of Marshfield, North Bend, Bridge and Coquille were given awards.
