Below is printed a copy of that letter: 36 40 3.30 Subject to the provisions of Chap ter 5, Oregon Laws, special session, 2.88 1935, you may now pay delinquent taxes of the year 1834 and prior years 38.45 without penalties and interest. Evolved by Atomic Force?” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sun day, Dec. 22. The Golden Text was, “Every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.” (Heb. 3:4). Among the citations which com prised the Lesson-Sermon was the following from'the Bible: “Thou-art worthy, O Lord, to. receive glory and honor and power; for thou has cre ated all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Rev. 4: 11). The Leson-Sermon also included the following correlative passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “God creates and governs the uni verse, including man. The universe is filled with spiritual ideas, which He evolves, and they are obedient to the Mind that makes them . . . Mortals are not like immortals, cre ated in God’s own image; but infinite Spirit being all, mortal consciousness will at last yield to the scientific fact and disapepar, and the real sense of being, perfect and forever intact, will appear.” (p. 285).
