Following the program launched
last year, members of the 30-30 club 1
are now busy gathering toys, which
they will mend and put into shape
for Christmas distribution. The Jun
ior Woman’s club has agreed to dress
dolls which the men’s group receives.
As is their usual custom, the Amer
ican Legion and Auxiliary will sand
baskets to families of needy veterans

During the past week, the Salva-
lion Army has conducted a drive here
to raise Christmas money to be used
in Coquille. Until recently, this or
ganization had no fund budgeted for
relief work here in the valley, though
it has given much help ip the com
munity but, under new program, an

used here.
