One new member, Mias Gee. gins McKenzie, of Port Orford, was initiated into the organization. Mrs. June Walker, who has served as director of music for the Daugh ters. and who is leaving Coquille in the near future, with her family, to reside in Chicago, was presented with a gift, on this occasion, in apprecia tion of her assistance. Mrs. Walker will be greatly missed in this, as well • as numerous other organizations in i Coquille, she having taken a promin- , ent part in musical affairs for several ■ years, possessing a voice of outstand ing beauty. .
