Job9» Daughters Go to Bandon 1 Episcopal Guild ladies held their egular Wednesday meeting at the 'arish hall with a good attendance and much sewing accomplished. Mrs. id. Lorenz and Mr*. Geo. Lorenz act 'd at hostesses. The following were present: Mesdames Tuttle, Robinson,, Watson. Ingall, Pettit, Gillespie. Mansell, Hazard, Da via, Fuhrman, Sherwood, Thoma*; Folsom, Tay'.or, Osmundson, Rosa and Vinton. Miss Grace Elllngsen entertained vith two tables of'contract bridge at »er home Wednesday evening, with ¿iizabeth Pierce, Katherine Jane lassler, Mrs. Margarita Brodie, Vesta Miley, Marjorie McClellan, Mrs. larold Santee, Carol Young and Vconta Sweet participating. Mias Elizabeth Pierce scored high at »ridge. Rev. W. S. Smith will officiate, ising the impressive ring service. The couple, unattended, will take heir vows in the presence of close elatives, only. The bride , has chosen a green suit vith matching hat and black acces sories for her wedding. Immediately 'oilowing the ceremony the couple viU leave for a trip by car, to Cali- 'omia points, expeiriing to be away 'or two weeks. The best wishes of i host of friends accompany them. The Job'* Daughters of Coquille were entertained by their Bandon members, assisted by Occidental chapter at the O. E. S. at Bandon, Monday evening, a large delegation of members, narents and friend* go ing from here. Miss Evelyn Rider welcomed the visitor* with a beauti ful greeting* in verse, and following the regular meeting the Bandon girls presented Mrs. Florence Sanford, guardian of the Bethel, with a beauti ful basket of flower* in a very pretty ceremony, an expresison of their ap preciation of her untiring efforts in their behalf. The Coquille girls, numbering' about eighteen, gave a candlelight! drill, singing “Our Bethel Light,” with Mis* Margaret Purvance doing the solo parte and they presented the worthy matron of Occidental chapter 1 with a candelabara. Miss Levelle Walstrom, Honored Queen, making the presentation. The serving of re freshments completed a very inter esting and pleasant evening, the bethel members appreciating especi ally the presence of O. E.
