The meeting is to be held there Oct. 24-27 inclusive. He accompanied Jno. A. Biegger, president of the Marshfield Club, who was driving east. At the meeting of the Coquille club Wednesday evening it was announc ed that there are 812 members here Theffe local members will Join the other clubs of the United States in a rally on the last day of the conven tion, Sunday, Oct. 27, at 1 p. m. Paci fic coast time, all' the clubs of the country rallying at the same hour. A committee to arrange for the rally was named Wednesday evening. A delightful musical and dancing program was presented Wednesday evening. Miss Marjorie Western, who is organising a dancing class here, gave a splendid exhibition of tap dancing. Another feature was the violin playing of Ronald, 8-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams, who Is a natural musician and gives promise at this early age of being a master of the instrument in years to come. Playing without music before him he kept perfect time and gave a most creditable performance. Eastern Star Notes The Past Matrons and Patrons of Beulah Chapter, O. E. The Ways 2nd Means committee of Beulah Chapter have planned a cooked food sale for tomorrow (Sat urday) to be held at Gould’s store, beginning in the forenoon.
