The Sentinel County School Notes From Mrs. Mulkey’s Office Committees of teachers have been appointed recently by the executive committee of county division of Or gan State Teachers Association. The executive committee members are: president, Leland P. Linn, Myrtle Point Union High; vice president, Richard Hughes, principal Harding Building Marshfield; and secretary treasurer, Dorothy Barry Keating, Empire. One of the duties of the committee is to appoint annually sub- ' committees which report at the an nual county institute. These are: the nomination committee: Wayne Young; Randolph, chairman; Ruth Brown, Bridge; Howard Varney, Powers; Eleanor Brown, Bunker Hill;1 and Genevieve Crowley, Bandon. Committee on resolutions and objec-: tives: Henry Hartley, Coquille, chair-' man; Theodore Gary, Bandon; Gray- ' don Crews, Myrtle Point; Gladys Bayliss, Coos River; and Dema Youngmayr, Empire. Auditing com mittee: Edgar Rickard, Myrtle Point; Ann Dolezal, Powers; Velma Matthes, North Bend. I A supply of Oregon Blue Books have been received at the office of I the county superintendent from' . Secretary of State Earl Snell. These are being distributed to the schools of the county. Principals’ Conference School principals will meet in Sa lem on October IS and IS. This con ference is held annually. The pro gram is prepared jointly by the prin cipals* association and the state su perintendent, C. A. Howard. No doubt a large number of principals will be in attendance from Coos county.
