The fifteenth annual Myrtle con­
vention of the Royal Neighbors of
America was held in North Bend last
Friday, with meetings held in the I.
O. O. F. hall.
The meetings were
presided over by the county oracle,
Mrs. Mary G. Kibler. The conven­
tion consists of five campe in Coos
county, North Bend, Marshfield, Co­
quille, Myrtle Point and Powers.
The morning session was turned
over to registration and appointing of
committees. The school of instruc­
tion conducted by the state supervisor
was toe feature of the afternoon ses­
sion.

delegates and visitors in the banquet
room of the Methodist church.

L. E. Day, who came to North Bend,
six months ago from Wisconsin, was
fined $5 for having a void livence tag
on his car, and |5 for permitting four
people to ride in the front seat. The
fine was paM and he was released
Monday. Clarence Davis, who was
with him, was fined $5 for not hav­
ing a driver's license, in Justice Bolt’s
court at Marshfield.
Geo. Eisele was fined $105 and sen­
tenced to 30 days in jail, in justice
court at Powers, Tuesday, for driving
while intoxicated.
Alfred Fredrickson, arrested Tues-
dsy on sn old committment for pos­
session of beer mash, was released on
his own recognizance, to give him
an opportunity to raise the $100 fine
F. F. Decosta, of Bkndon, was ar­
rested Wednesday on an old committ­
ment for fishing without a license.
His fine was $25, imposed by Justice
J. J. Stanley.
P. J. Miller and Leslie Bums were
arrested at Marshfield, Wednesday,
for driving a car with void foreign
license plates.
