Dixie Quartet, April 1 Anticipate Students* Return If you like the old-time negro mel odies sung in the real old negro way hear the Dixie Jubilee Quartet, a versatile group of singers, which will Appear in the Coquille Community Building on April 1, under the spon sorship of the B. & P. They feature the old-time favorites but their repertoire includes a little bit of everything with a good portion of the more humorous. If you can’t laugh you had better not listen to these four gloom chasers. All of the quartet members ar« splendid vocal soloists and one man offers readings However, when one sees a colored male quartet advertis ed the thing that appeals is the quar tet work itself and therein lies the success df the Dixie Jubilees for they get a perfect blend of voices.
