Wagner-Whobrey
Miss Marie Whobrey and Edgar A.
Wagner were quietly married Satur­
day evening at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. H. L. Johnson where Miss Who­
brey has made her home for several
years. The loom was decorated in
daffodils with greenery.
The ring ceremony was used, by
Rev. W. S. Smith, who performed it.
The bride was given in marriage by
H. L. Johnson. Miss Wanda Houdy-
shell^jittpnded the bride and Ross
Kistner acted as best man.
« The bride was very attractively
dressed in a royal blue dinner dress
and carried, an arm bouquet of pin
roses and freesias, while the brides­
maid wore a peacock blue dress and
carried a bouquet of snapdragons.
Mrs. E. A: Woodyard rendered two
beautiful vocal solos, “Because” and
“I Love You Truly,” after which the

Social Activities
Last Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs
Julius Ruble entertained about a
dozen of their friends to a 4.30
o'clock dinner, the guests being seated1
at the dining table, made beautiful
with a large center bouquet of violets
with matching tapers, and hand-
painted place cards with violet de­
sign. During the evening, contract
bridge was\played, with Mrs. C. K.
Noreott holding high score for the la­
dies and Willard Bosserman for the
gentlemen.
The guests were: Mr.
and Mrs. Lafe Compton, Mr. and Mrs.
Bosserman, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bry­
ant, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Boober and
Mr. and Mrs. Noreott.
On Monday evening Mrs. Ruble in­
vited in for cards a number of ladies,
including: Mesdames Bingham, Mar­
tin, Boober, Hudson, Ralph Taylor. 1
