Plans are being made for a card party to be held at the,'Parish House on the twenty-third of May. One of the meet outstanding parties of the season was held At the Coquille Hotel Tuesday when Mrs. M. O. Haw- ki'u, Mrs. George Johnson, Mrs. W. V. Glaisyer and Mrs. J. L. Smith en tertained at a one o’clock luncheon The dining room was attractively dec orated with large baskets of yellow and purple Japanese iris, while on the small tables mixed spring flowers in bright shades were used. Bridge was the afternoon’« diversion with twenty tables in play. High scores were held by Mrs. Lloyd iRoea, Mrs. Frank Thrift and Mrs. E. M. Kay.
