Kenneth Cart, son of Mr. and Mm. J. D. Carl, again scored high in cat- tle judging at the Pacific Internation- al this year. Kenneth ie taking his senior year st O. 8. C. and was choc- en on the judging team of the college again this yw. The team won a ailver cup for ranking highest in Jer- sey and Holstein judging and a cup for ranking highest in all four breeds. Kenneth himself won a gold medal for scoring the highest in Jersey and Holstein judging and a deluxe edition of Holstein Friesian history- He placed third in the contest, being nosed out by Carl Lunetrom, of Idaho, for second place. Mrs. A. Farrier underwent a seri ous operation for ruptured appendix at the Knife hospital Wednesday. She is getting along aa weR aa could be expected.
