Grand Jury in Start—
Twelve to fifteen cases are being
brought before the Coos county grand
jury by District Attorney Wa. E.
Walsh. The grand jury began its in
vestigations yesterday and will proba
bly not finish before tomorrow. The
sheriff*« office issued thirty odd sub-
poenaes to witnesses, and more were
issued by Mr. Walsh.
Among the cases to be considered
are the following:
Jack Perry for burgle yr; Roy Mast
for setting Are to forest lands; Ira
Shields for setting Are to forest
lands; Frank Harrison for setting Are
to forest lands; Charles Feller for
violation of the crab taw; Charles
Davis on a morals charge; Raleigh
Green for driving an ante while in
toxicated; Worn Weekly for non sup
port; Ernest Clark for contributing to
the delinquency of a minor; Clarence
Mane and Robert E. Lea for contri
buting to the delinquency of a minor;
and Lydia Churehill and Charles
Bears for willfully injuring a gate.
