Mr«. Perna Harris gave a birthday
party for her daughter, Ileen, Mon­
day evening.
Those present were:
Perna Kight, Helen Nulf, Evelyn
Berry, Virginia Rakes, Agnes Hull
and Cherie Mae Hartwell. With the
exception of Evelyn Berry, al) remain­
ed until Tuesday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Z. C. Strang and Mr.
Brady, of Coquille, were visitors at
the C. M. Hartwell home Thursday of
“Keno" Keiser, of North Bend, is
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Martin.
Edith Smith has returned home
from California, where she has been
going to school for the summer.
Mrs. Haan and eon, Aubrey, from
Ashland, were visiting in Riverton
last week.
Mrs. Alma Kay, of California, is
spending two weeks-with hermoth-
er, Mrs. Ben Smith, and brothers,
Errs and Lyle.
Mrs. Goldie Griffin was visiting in
Manahfield Friday of last week.
Mrs. A. C: Dye returned home from
the Keiser hospital Friday. She will
be confined to her bed for a few
weeks, after which time it is expected
she will be around again as usual.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Steward and Mr.
and Mrs. C. M. Hartwell attended the
Coquille Grange laat Thursday night.
